- Pour the bourbon, citrus juice, simple syrup, and vanilla extract into a blender.
- Add the ice cubes on top of the liquid ingredients in the blender.
- Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes thick, icy, and slushy, about 30-45 seconds. You should see a smooth, semi-frozen texture with tiny ice crystals.
- Pause the blender and check the consistency—if it's too thick, add a splash of citrus juice and blend briefly again.
- Once blended to your desired slushy consistency, pour the whiskey slushie into chilled glasses.
- Garnish with a twist of citrus or a small sprig of mint for visual appeal if desired.

Notes
